[LOTHAR] vs -[War]

Thanks to -[War] clan for this giving us the match on Sunday.

A fairly decent match except for 2 in-game disconects from both teams. First [LOTHAR] KilY and then -[War]Wallerz left the game for 3 rounds each due to some connection problems at home. Since both players left the game for approximately 3 rounds each, I suppose it one might still be able to consider that as a fair match. We're available for rematches after my exam which ends in June should -[War] clan wants to. Anyway below are the details of the match.
Map: De_dust2
Venue: Garena Malaysia Cs 1.6 room 02.

TEAM -[War]

*note: -[War]Creeper substituted -[War]hakim for the 2nd half of the match.

Match proceedings:
Rules: First team to win 16 rounds wins the match. A team switch will be issued as soon as the leading score team reaches a team score of 10.
Team [LOTHAR] wins the knife match and picked Counter Terrorist.
Team [LOTHAR] wins pistol round as Counter Terrorist.
Team -[War] wins the 1st half of the match as Terrorist with a score of 10-6.
1st half ends and 2nd half begins with team [LOTHAR] as Terrorists and team -[War] as Counter Terrorist.
Team -[War] wins pistol round as Counter Terrorist.
Team [LOTHAR] wins the 2nd half with a score of 3-10.
The match ends with a total team score of:
team [LOTHAR] -16 and, team -[War] -13.

Next time, think twice before insulting my clan mates.

I went to the PIKOM pc fair at KLCC convention centre the other day with my dad and I spent most of my time glued to the Razer booth. Even after I got home I couldn't put down my Razer catalouge and pricelist. Its probably the most touched object in my room right now! xD What was so awesome about the pc fair was that they allowed me to try practially ALL their mice and headphones on CS 1.6 and L4D! Here are some of their products I can't stop drooling about.

Lachesis...I find this one quite smooth but the problem with it is that its too large to fit my palm.

Abyssus...its small size makes it quite comfortable for a guy with small hands like me :D

Mamba, by far the most expensive mouse they were selling there(RM 417) besides the limited edition Boomslang. Expensive probably because of the insane 5600 DPI and its ability to switch from a wired mouse into a wireless battery powered mouse in an instant.

Here's the mouse that Gibson wanted to get. Though I never found the Orochi to my liking even after trying it out.

Meet my favorite mouse!! I fell in love with the Razer Naga at first sight, but once I touched it and tried it, I knew I simply HAD to get one someday. I mean c'mon? a 5600 DPI mouse for only RM 279!? 12 numbpad buttons ON THE MOUSE!? Which makes a total of 17 buttons plus those on the left click button. And OMG the comfort level of this thing!! I rather sleep with my Razer Naga on the roadside than a 5 star hotel. I mean seriously it melted into my hand as soon as a grabbed it and fired off a few clips from an M4. It felt like an extension of my hand. Those 12 numbpad buttons really didn't bother my thumb positioning at all. But staying just at thumb's length to give me the security that they will be there when I need them. Being an invoker player, I wonder if its really possible to find a warkey that could bind invoker skills to those numbpad buttons on the mouse?

Ah second cheapest mouse there which cost only RM99. Though I did find those orange non-slip lines on the side of the mouse to be quite irritating at some times.

No question about the value of this mouse. This upgraded version of the popular DeathAdder sells for RM 217 with 5600 DPI. No wonder it was the first mouse to completely sell out at the PC fair. People just swept it off the shelves.

MEGALODON - THE MOTHER OF ALL HEADPHONES. Its ridiculously comfortable given its mamoth size. Only thing is that this prehistoric 50 foot shark (its named after) will eat RM 519 from your wallet.

The Lycosa is the upgraded version of the Razer Tarantula. This thing is so shiny I can use it as a mirror.
PHEW! Ok I better stop now before I end up promoting their entire product list here. Anyway I have already gathered a few Razer enthusiasts who will be going to the next pc fair with me, including Gibson. Planning to bring a few more people in hopes of getting a bundle price discount :)

De_Dust 2!

This is an overview of [LOTHAR]'s motherland map... de_dust2, I have taken the liberty to label out the names of various hot spots and locations on the map, which are commonly used in-game.

1) I noticed some of our members are still unfamiliar with location names in the map.

2) You all seem confused at my commands, since most of the time they include player positioning, stacking, wall-spamming, map coordination, map timing, position timing, directional aiming, etc etc...all these require at least some basic sense of map awareness.

3) Having a common knowledge on what names to call which places makes it easier for us to coordinate with each other.

4) For example if I call for an "Alley crate stack & Prince of Persia stack", or anybody shouts NEED BACKUP! at "playground", we should be able to execute these moves with ease.

Enough said...I think you all get the idea. Just remember to spend some time studying these location names and getting familiar with them. If you all have any suggestions about my labeled overview, please do discuss it with everybody. For example changing place names/ relocate place names/ making names less complicated...or just about anything related to this post! This layout is only a test version I made for Lotharian use only...these names are not used in official tournaments.

Anywayz. I want to see FULL MAP AWARENESS in 2 weeks.
Thats an order xD

After we've mastered map coordination, I shall get into the details of what I call..."Techinical-game-play"...these will include controlling recoil, bullet damage calculation, distance, bullet penetration, wall spamming, footsteps, Bunnyhop, Duckwalk, camp sites, blindspots, angles and ALL other things that make Counter Strike 1.6 such an interesting game! :)

Here's a sneak peak at what kinda pictures I might be uploading on my Technical game-play
Notice anything strange about this screenshot? Enlarge to find out xD
SO...Stick around for more Lotharian updates!

End of trial period...?

"one week" has officially passed since [LOTHAR] PlaymatE's trial to reenter the clan has begun.
Everyone seems to be getting along quite well with each other, and have more or less adapted to each other's strengths and weaknesses in DotA and CS. I guess this means Siang is officially accepted into the clan? or has Zw3n anything more to say? Please let any objections be made known to us.

Till then, Siang is part of our happy family XD
